Does anyone know where the ecu is located? I just had mine replaced and I noticed yellow electrical tape around a plug that leads down to what looks like the ecu. Does anyone have yellow tape ( org ecu or new) on theirs? I wait to be sure before I rip DNA/Dealer up. Thanks.

Man that's a big photo, is that your thumb. wow man!! I can see the wire but can't tell what they are. I'll be doing some work on mine in the morning so I'll see what I make of it. I'll let you know then.

I have my bike apart at home and will also take a look tonight and try to post my findings as soon as possible.

The ECU is located direction under the battery, it has those two large black connectors going in to it. Not sure about the yellow plug though.

they look to be the three wire that come from the alternator and go to the regulator to me I haven't got all my plastic off but from what I can see that's what they are. Mine have yellow tape on them as well. Hope that has relieved yor concerns. Man I've loaded porn quicker than this thread my band width sucks. (just joking I dont really download porn)........anyone wanna buy a bridge?

Thanks Slob, I sent DNA an email. I do feel better now. I'm at the 600mi mark and need a check up. I was beginning to think I have a Boot leg Duc dealer and need to find another.

the wires and the tape are all the same as on my bike. nothing to worry about.

That's actually dirt. I got caught in a down poor 5 mi away from home.
