Congrats on getting reunited. I had a bit of a reunion myself yesterday ........ when I picked up my bike from the Denver impound lot. I have had a bit of a lead foot and strong right wrist in the last couple of years - rendering my license suspended. I couldn't resist the tempatation to take the 1098 yesterday on a 75 degree day here ....... when a cop gets behind me in the city and pulls me over. He was one of those veteran Denver cops that didn't really care what I had to say - and felt as though I was driving "recklessly". I had 2 weeks left before my suspension was lifted and I'd be free and clear. The cop decided to throw the book and write me up for 4 counts including reckless driving. After that - he had a towtruck come and haul my bike off to the lot (wouldn't let me a call a friend to pick it up - and made me leave the kay with them). 5 hours later - I sprung it from the lot .... saving it from a night outside in that hellhole. Now my lawyer and I have an appearance on may 18th to face the music. I will pray to the motorcycle gods that they go easy on me!

I know man, but i am not denying the fact that I was indeed driving illegally .... but it's somethign I just can't stay away from..... riding is my form of life therapy. Take it away from me - and I'd go nutts.

He didn't have to throw in the reckless driving bit though ....I had only gone 2 blocks.
