If you know of a 2008 1098-S in Black that becomes available please contact me. I suspect this may be someone backing out on a deposit, a dealer that had someone back out or traded for another unit/color.

Western USA is preferable will ship or pick up anywhere in domestic USA.
I'm located in Colorado.

The owner of Spectrum Motorsports in Irvine, CA, has a black S with the full Termis, and that’s the only one I’ve seen in person. As an aside, they have a tri on the sales floor and I saw another one in the service garage; WOW, are they beautiful in person! Pictures really don’t do them justice! Bellissimo! The Ducati Dealer in Stuart Florida has a 2008 Black 1098-S on there showroom floor! It didnt have a sold sign on it like my red base did last week when I went in there. It was a stunning sight. It made me wonder if I would be happier with that one... Nah, I wouldnt replace my girl with anything!

If my memory serves me correctly, I think that in Oklahoma BMW-Ducati-Vespa when I took my bike in for service they had one, maybe two on the floor? Not sure about year. I woud give them a call. If you get a "Conrad Fontaine" hang up the phone immediately.

I would have loved to get a black S but another 6g more... I can live with a red standard myself. Not to say that I don't like the red an all but that black looks sick with the red frame IMO.

All the 1098's are nice.
