Hey I don't know where else to put this, so don't flame  me if this is in the wrong section.

Monday (August 15, 2011): I called AMS between 10-11 AM. I spoke with a person named Tony, I asked told Tony I heard on a local Ducati board they got a 2011 Evo in, may I speak with Marty.
Tony's response was Marty is busy and it just sold, but they do have a stealth in.
Well I said cool I asked if they'd be willing to order me some 2011 White plastic. Tony said of course.
She said I would have to come in and we can discuss it, and fill out some paperwork.
I explained to her I was 3 hours north, I would like a exact price of what I'm looking at. Before I drive 3 hours and figure out a price I do not want.
She asked for my name, email, and phone number. I gave it to her and she said she'll shoot me some numbers...

Later that day oh.. about 3:00pm I call back and speak with someone else, I ask for Marty and someone off a Ducati forum recommended him. She said he was out but will leave him my name and phone number, So I gave it to her again. And told her to memo that I am inquiring about the 2011 848 Evo

Well
Wednesday (August 17, 2011): No email... No call... Nothing.. So I call back around the same time. 10-11 am. I speak to another person, and we go through the same spiel I did with Tony, I ask if they can get me a price on the 2011 Stealth with White Plastics. The AMS personnel said she will take down my info and send it to me some prices here in a hour or so.

Well.. 3:00pm rolls around... No emails... No calls...

OK! Cool, I'll call back and see whats up...

I call back and someone answers and I tell them I called earlier and spoke to someone about the 2011 Ducati 848 Evo and needed a quote on it with white plastics... They said well do you remember who you were speaking with, I honestly had the name on the tip of my tongue but couldn't let it roll off for the life of me. I told her I don't remember her name, something with a "A"?
They said well I can't ask them about your quote if you don't even know who it is...

Ok... Can I speak with Marty I ask.. They said Martyis on the phone, can they leave a message... So! same ol spiel again... I leave my info.

Friday (August 19, 2011): I have yet to get a call back.. no email.. So basically I have no pricing...

I call back and ask the same thing I did Wednesday and Monday... I got the same answer, They'll take my info and shoot me the quote later...
Well this time I tell them, I have a 2011 848 Evo in white lined up in Boston, but if you guys are gonna give me one with lower miles and only 3 hours away Id rather have that, because the price they told me Wednesday was like 11,999? or might of been 12,999. But I'm almost sure it's 11,999.

Saturday is here, nothing....
Honestly when I bought my Husqvarna 510 SMR new from Nor Cal, I called them, they immediately got me a price for what I wanted withing about an hour and a half after we got off the phone. And I spent 7,000 on that Supermoto! I figured I'd get a better treatment on a more expensive Ducati...

But if they don't want my business, I'll just send my money to kman, so he can buy some booze, strippers, and his 1198sp :yo:
kman isn't even wanting to sell his bike, just if it sells.. it sells.. Yet he has treated me so well, as if he is desperate to sell the thing, takes any pics I need, answers any questions I have.

You'll be lucky if you walked in there and they might greet you. This has happened to me once. I didn't buy the bike from them, but I decided to go get some hats and shirts since they have more available. i walked in, picked a hat, no one asked or said hi (I was wearing shorts, flip flops, T-shirts, and a hat-I guess i'm not the kind who can afford a duc). When I brought the item near the desk, a lady finally looked up and asked me if I owned a duc (???). If you wanna call for a quote, please call European Motorsports in Plano, that's where I bought my bike, they're nice people and don't bullshit you. Ask for Elvis (the sales manager or JC), you can tell them it's Le who told you to call. hope you'll get resolved

No problem. Hah, European Motorsports (www.BMWmotorcyclesdallas.com) also carry Triumph, MV, Moto Guzzi, and BMW if you want other options)

Thanks bud, only way their getting my money if they can get me a 2011 848 Evo, In white.. I don't care if they take a 2011 Evo and put White Evo fairings on it, I'll figure it out.
But like I said, kman might get my money.

Just moved to Ft Worth, so I went there as I heard they were pretty good. I had inspection sticker issues with a couple of my bikes (waited three weeks to have them mailed). There certainly seems to be organization/communication issues with some of the staff, but I will give them another shot.

Marty is pretty knowledgable and certainly helped me getting prices and such. Of course, the first time I walked in I spent about $400 in hats/shirts, etc in addition to putting a deposit on the new 1199. Marty assured he would keep me updated on specs, colors, etc as info was released. Maybe the fact that I have two Ducs and put money on another one influenced them to help me. But like I say, Marty was pretty good-it was the other staff I had issues with.

On top of that, their service department "looks" to be pretty good with a former Duc racer as their head guy.

We shall see. I will, howver, def go check out European Motorsports to try and track down an MV I have been seeking for a while.

So sad....Some dealerships are so bad and some are so good. I don't get it.
Pro Italia: Great
Brea:Great
Simi Valley Cycles: welcome to hell
Berts: 20 year old girl greeting us after the theft scanners while eating a candy bar and eating with her mouth open: ''whacha guys looking for?''
LMAO, funny thing is those girls always think they're in higher class than the person who is actually a potential cash buyers:jerkoff:...same thing when you go to those high end boutiques

their all nice to you when you have cash in hand ready to buy something..

when calling or asking questions, they could care less. nature of most sales people-

But it doesn't hurt to pretend to be polite instead of look down on potential buyers, don't you guys think? I mean, the day I put the deposit down for my 848 after asking the sale rep at european motorsports, I wore shorts, flip-flops, T shirts, and a ripped hat. They still greeted me with nice words and to me, that's all that matters.

Oh yeah, I wish they would of treated me better. But they didn't so it's there lost and not mine. There 15k less of their sales quote, and I'm still 15k richer.

It's awesome when a business first opens and they act (customer service) upon what they believe is going to make them the best. But when they become the best, they lose all root of the foundation they built that separated them from the heavy hitters

my dealership treated me badly too, wouldn't buy a bicycle from them again, but I don't have to worry about that now, they aren't a ducati dealer anymore after 25+ years.... but I'm on the other coast from you guys so...
