I've recently been looking at used multistratas, and ideally would like the Enduro. However, I'm concerned about the added weight and seat height versus the 1260 s.

Also, I'm noticing that probably half of the used multistradas I'm seeing our enduros - greatly out of proportion with the number of enduros sold. This is giving me some pause. Is the Enduro simply too much bike for the average buyer, or did many of these buyers mistakenly think they were going to do serious dirt biking?

I wouldn't be doing more than fireroads, so my other option is to buy the 1260s and just add crash bars and skid plate.

Any advice from average sized Enduro owners would be appreciated.
